It’s obviously hard to let the one you love go, but it’s even more difficult to watch them die helplessly.Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane revolves around Ram (Ram Kapoor) who dotes on his wife Anandita (Gurdeep Kohli). In spite of knowing that she is suffering from cancer and barely has a few days to live, he is not ready to let her go just yet.Ram is consumed with grief and is holding on to his wife as he fears living alone may just not be his cup of tea. The promo showcases how Anandita has accepted fate and made up her mind to move on, but no matter how hard she tries Ram will not budge from trying till his last breath to make her better.Ram gives her medicines and she ignores it. She asks him to let her go and not fuss like a baby. Ram loses his cool and yells at her out of frustration that she doesn’t seem to understand.Ram tells Anandita that his life without her is not something he can imagine. He yells asking how she can be so selfish and only think of herself. What about him? What will he do without her and how will he cope up? He finally comes down on his knees and holds on to her while promising to never let her go no matter what. It’s an extremely emotional sequence, where Ram pours his heart out and expresses his love for his dying wife.The show is raising our expectations; just hope they are able to live up to it.
