Diwali Special: Anil Kapoor impresses, Shilpa Shetty fizzles

The Kundras hosted a Diwali party last night which saw stars donning their traditional avatars.Diwali week sure is going to see a lot of sparkling stars of Bollywood. And then some not so sparkling stars too. Our fashion police are keeping a close check on all the B-town Diwali parties to see how our celebs have fared on the fashion quotient. While the best dressed celebs will be highly appreciated, the worst dressed ones will sure get a telling off. Here are our picks from Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s Diwali bash…




No matter how hard we try the lime light here is still on the host of the party, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, courtesy her tacky-meets-weird attire. Everything the neck up looks perfect but the skirt-blouse like cut of her kurta teamed with ill-fitted pants is an eyesore. Even the classy accessories do nothing to save the look.While Shilpa miserably failed, Anil Kapoor absolutely nailed the traditional avatar. From his plain white kurta paired with deep grey Nehru jacket to his brown shoes that broke the black-n-white monotony, the Welcome Back actor had his style pat down. A big THUMBS UP for Mr Kapoor.
