Kumkum Bhagya: Shabbir Ahluwalia aka Abhi’s girlfriend gets replaced

Television is often a stepping stone for actors to Bollywood and it’s a similar situation here.Tanu aka Madhurima Tuli who plays Abhi’s (Shabbir Ahluwalia) girlfriend in Balaji Telefilms’ Kumkum Bhagya has been replaced by Leena Jumani.According to reports, Madhurima decided to quit the show as she was offered a pivotal role in a movie. Considering Tanu’s character is essential for the show, the makers would not be able to incorporate her absence in the script. After much deliberation, the makers of the show roped in Leena Jumani, who was last seen in Amita Ka Amit to play the character of Tanu.While Leena is a decent actor, somehow wethinks Shabbir and Leena don’t have the same chemistry that Madhurima and Shabbir shared. It seems like an awkward pair.
